Graham Bond, Managing Director
Graham is a practising corporate Treasurer,
particularly in change management situations.
Roles as Group Treasurer have included for a FTSE 100
leisure and pubs group, for two UK electricity utilities
and for two international manufacturing companies.
In all, he has helped set up treasury functions for over
10 large companies in different market sectors and this
has often included raising new syndicated bank debt
facilities and re-financings including securitisation
facilities.
Recent achievements have included:

Setting up the new treasury functions and
becoming interim Group Treasurer for 3 large
leverage buy-outs from multi-nationals, the latest
being the gas, electricity and water metering
manufacturing business previously owned by a
multinational energy utility company. The
manufacturer operates in over 60 countries with
turnover of approximately EUR1.1billion.

As part of a team at a pubs, bars and
restaurants group plc, developing and implementing a
£1.9billion funding strategy for a leisure and pub
group plc to enable the newly quoted FTSE 100 plc in
the leisure sector to stay independent and satisfy
institutional shareholder expectations.

Improving the financial risk management
strategies and day-to-day treasury operations of a
quoted water company, a FTSE 250 oil and gas
exploration company and a direct marketing company,
by benchmarking against good financial management
practice.

Leading a series of exercises for a major
personal financial services institution, a FTSE 250
plc, to find suitable local and international banks
in Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary to provide
local currency loans to the new country
subsidiaries; and then negotiating new facilities
and local banking services.
